It will completely cover his 4 years at A&M... tuition, room, board, books, any other expense... He has worked SO hard for this, and I am so incredibly proud of him. And I can't even put into words what a load off my shoulders this is... It's just beyond anything I can express. Now I'm going to cry again! But they're happy tears!!!

Gina - Congratulations!!!!! That is fantastic.

I am so tired. We were in LA last weekend for preview day. We have a house full of thespians for senior circle and the last sleepover at our house. Prom is Saturday night. Then 4 more days of classes, then DD is done with high school classes and has 3 weeks of her senior experience, then a fun week, and graduation. It is all a whirlwind. I have 5 sample announcements for her to chose from this weekend. She is having a party with 5 other families and that is coming together. I finished altering the prom dress today. YAY and it looks great. I think DD found a roommate, now they just need to get their housing app. in. Orientation is in June and is an overnight, does not appear to have any additional costs.

I hope everyone is doing well. Is anyone still making decisions?

Been so busy, I haven't had time to check in here at all!! But I want to say thank you for all the good wishes... It's still very surreal to my DS and I both. He and I keep talking about it, and it's so humbling to think that the Terry Foundation sees enough promise in him to offer to pay for his college degree -- that is an incredible investment, and an incredible obligation to make them pleased with their choice. DS says he understands that -- I hope so!

Can y'all believe how quickly graduation will be here?? It's just unreal... June is going to be here before we all know it!!

Is anyone still making decisions?

mine FINALLY made his last week. decided on Wednesday, went to orientation and registered for classes on Friday. that's how we roll around here.

Congrats to all! I haven't posted much but I have tried to keep up. My DS1 is still undecided... he says he has it narrowed down to 2 schools. They are both good schools but different in terms on size. We went to the day for admitted students to the one school but didn't get a chance to go to the other one as it was only held one day and we were on a spring break trip. I've told DS1 we can go back to walk around, tour, etc but he says no it's ok. I guess we'll know in the next week!

We are finally in the home stretch. DD brought home her last high school yearbook today and has started the countdown of her last 10 days of school. Every day I hear the same thing: "I just want to be done!" I'm her cheerleader to keep her going so that her engine doesn't crack before finals. How can a straight A student for 4 years suddenly not give a rip about grades?

I think graduation is so close they can taste it. In less then a month, high school will be over. It's hard to believe.
