Hi all, been lurking, 1st time posting. We will be in the world in October and are going to do a grown-ups night out (4 adults).

Should we eat and drink our way around Epcot at the Food & Wine Festival, perhaps making PS at Epcot restaurant or should we enjoy a long relaxing dinner at more upscale restaurant like CG or Flying Fish?

Part of me says to take advantage of F&W since it is going on while we are there, but part of me says take full-advantage of being kidless and enjoy a nice dinner.

What would you do and why? TIA

First off, Welcome To The Dis!!!!

Ive never been during the F&W festival so I cant really say much about that option. However, DH & I recently had a night out away from our kids in WDW and we had a blast. We started with dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse(amazing) at 7:00, then we strolled over to Epcot. We were able to hang out a while and catch Illminations before walking to the BW to have some fun and some cocktails at Jellyrolls.
Maybe there is some way you could incorporate a nice dinner and some time exploring Epcot, maybe drinking around the world, if youve already eaten dinner.

You might consider having your "appetizer" at the F&W kiosks, then following with a leisurely dinner at one of the restaurants. Have fun!

Either would be fine.
Personally, I'd opt for the dinner. California Grill would be a perfect spot!!

Welcome to the Boards!

I'd opt for the dinner. Sit down, have a cocktail, adult conversation and be waited on!!!! If you go to Blue Zoo the kids can stay 2 hours at the kids club!!!

Have fun. Maybe I will see you there. We go Oct 8-14.

MamaQuack,

Does the BlueZoo have a kids club in the restaurant? Is there an minimum age requirement? Where is it located? TIA

Its thru the hotel - Dolphin - the regular Disney kid program. If you are eating there you can let the kids stay for 2 hours for free!!!!!
