Our first day in the parks will be my parent's 48th wedding anniversary. We will be at MK and have a ressie at Crystal Palace at 4pm that day. I anticipate that we'll hit park opening, take a mid-day break and be back in time for the ressie, then continue doing the park.
I've been trying to come up with ideas of something I could do for my parents and my first thought was a meal for just the two of them. (They pretty much take care of my sister's 3 kids who will be there and don't get much alone time anymore). But now that we have a 4pm meal planned and I know that they won't want to miss that meal, that kinda shoots that idea. I'm not sure they'd want another sit down type meal later that evening either after Crystal Palace. I thought about ordering a cake, but since Crystal Palace is a buffet, there's already desserts included. I've thought about ordering a basket, but haven't seen anything that fits them. They are not huge Disney fans like I am, and most things seemed to be geared more toward honeymoon, etc. Someone at work suggested a food basket (cheeses, etc.), but that doesn't seem to be a possibilty (the food isn't allowed in baskets).
So am I stuck with just giving them a card??? Help this non-creative mind come up with something!
