Is anyone else watching?? My husband and I love this show. I thought it was gonna be a tough sell getting him to watch but he really likes it. I think it is very well cast and written. :happytv:

I really wanted to like this show and watched the first 3 episodes, but it just gets on my nerves. All of their imperfections/neuroses are written so 'perfectly' that it makes it unbelievable to me. But I'm glad you like it and found something your DH likes, as well (that can be tough sometimes!).

Even though this is one of my favorite shows, I totally agree with you! I love the storylines and the characters. I think they chose the perfect actors for the roles. But there's just something so totally scripted about the chaos of this family.

I really like the show, but it seems SO unrealistic to me. I know, I know....it is tv...most television families are unrealistic....but this family just seems so odd to me. Are there really families out there like them? They are SO into each others personal business. And who just drops in at their sibling's work place all of the time, unannounced? It seems like the guy that works at the shoe company can't get through a work day without a family member stopping by with some sort of problem they want him to solve!

But...I do love to watch it!

Yes I do think there are families like this out there(well not exactly but similar) I am 1 of 8 kids and yes, some of us are very close and know alot about each others personal business. We don't just pop in at each others workplaces though. Several of us were SAHM's when our kids were younger so we hung out together all the time.

I personally can also relate to the way they are handling the child with autism. I have 3 nephews who are autistic. I think they are doing a good job portraying that family.

Really I talk to my parents everyday, my sisters at least 3 times a week, i text with my sisters daily. I see my youngest niece every morning before school, she rides her bike with my DD. We all have keys & codes to each others houses. My parents & younger sister live in the same neighborhood as I do.

I love this show! My son is just like the autistic child...It is nice to laugh at some of the things the child does on tv, when a few days/hours/minutes prior it happened to us and felt like torture..lol

Love this show! Have from the beginning! Adam Braverman just makes me smile....:goodvibes

I was worried that they would fall into the stereotypical scenario of him having an affair with the son's 'helper'. Nice to see that they've chosen to keep the marriage strong. I held my breath last episode because I was worried they would have Crosby drinking and driving....so happy to see he didn't! whew!

It's one of the only shows both my husband and I watch!

What she said.
I have it DVRed, but can't bring myself to bother watching it.

I agree. I had this on the DVR because it really looked like something I would enjoy, but halfway through the second episode I deleted it. I love all the actors in it, I loved the movie, but I just didn't enjoy the show.

I've come to the conclusion that anything in which Peter Krause decides to accept a role will be good.

I'm enjoying Parenthood.

Me too!!! :love:Peter Krause and the show. I love that it's a show my whole family enjoys. My kids(teenagers) crack up at the kids and the way they react to their parents.

I love this show. I think they chose the actors perfectly. The way they talk over each other all the time is about right in most households. Mine anyway.

I love the show altho I wish they had kept Jason Ritter as Sarah's love interest..He was HOT!!

We love this show. I swear my husband's family could be the Bravermans if you add one more sibling. My poor husband is Adam. He's always having to fix his other siblings' problems.

The family is a bit over the top. I get especially annoyed with the dad. He's my least favorite character. If my dad was that much of a jerk I don't know that I'd be that involved with him.

OK, I know I'm totally out of it, but is there a way to watch the older episodes of this to catch up and start watching it?

It a show I've always wanted to watch, but never started - and now I want to see what I've been missing!

We watched it last season, but we're giving it up: It's just too noisy.
