Parenthood. The End. In ONE Minute!

Hmmm...Okay, mixed feelings.
For some reason this one didn't cause me to cry like the episode two weeks ago. I wish they hadn't of done what they did, but I did like how they gave us a glimpse into the future to get some closure.

Man oh man, that was a great series. I'm gonna miss it! I'm currently binging on Gilmore girls so I still get to see Lauren Graham.

I also wish it was 2 hrs. I am so happy they fast forwarded. I will really miss this show. Maybe there will be a reunion show in the future!

I didn't like the way Zeke talked to Sarah. I think it would have played out much sweeter if he'd had similar private conversations with each of his children telling them they were secretly his favourite. I kept waiting for that to happen and was disappointed that there were no special, one-on-one moments between him and Adam, Crosby and Julia.

This was one of my all time favorite shows. I am so disappointed it's done. I did like the finale--thought the glimpses into the future were touching and well-done. Did we see Haddie in the future? I've watched the end twice and haven't caught her yet. Great cast.

I agree with this! I was sure he would say that to each of them and it never happened. I'm the oldest of 4 and it makes me wonder who my parents' favorites are. Although I have 3 and can honestly say I do not have a favorite and I suspect that is true of most parents.

But she was clearly his favorite. That was jumping out at me in last week's episode. And zeke was a straight forward guy.

See, I never noticed that. He seemed to have a special relationship with most, if not all of his children. I might have guessed it was Crosby--remember the trip to get the car parts/bike? I also thought he really depended upon Adam to keep the family going--the responsible one. Not sure I ever saw it with Julia though, although I may be forgetting. I respect your opinion though and agree that he was certainly a straight shooter.

I have two, and most days, I have a favorite. It's just not the same day to day. :lmao:

I don't really think he meant it like that. She was the perpetual screw-up and has finally turned her life around. Because she caused him the most grief, I think he was telling her that she was his favorite to show her that none of that mattered to their relationship and that he loved her.
I loved the last episode ending with the softball game, just like episode 1. I bawled like a baby all night!

That is a running joke in my house. Anytime anyone actually listens to me and does what I ask I announce that that child has always been my favorite. An hour later that kid does something to annoy me and one of the others becomes the favorite. They just roll their eyes at me.

It looked like they were packing in a lot more babies, too. It looked like Amber had a second, Crosby and his wife were expecting a third, and Julia had a fourth.

Did seem rushed. It was nice to see Ryan active with little Zeke, in his life. Oh man, loved so many of those characters. And some grated my last nerve but that's real life. :goodvibes

Yes! I was thrilled to see Ryan with Zeke even though it appeared that he and Amber were no longer together and she had someone new. I actually probably preferred that they weren't together. Her new guy shook his hand and she kissed his cheek. I was wondering if Joel and Julia's baby was biologically theirs or maybe another sibling to Victor. Anybody notice anything about Haddie?

In an article I read today it said that the little girl you see at the table with Amber is the daughter of her new husband. They had a scene that they cut out where it shows the two single parents meeting at a indoor gym.

Didn't see anything with Haddie.
