parent swap

anyone got experience of using parent swap at disney? do you;
1: queue together and swap over at the front of the queue
2: one queues then the other goes in via exit with special pass
3: one queues, but the other one needs to be there ready when the first comes off???
are diney very strict about height restrictions. we go in a few weeks and my ds should just be tall enough for splash mountain, but only just.

the rides we used the child swap. you just go to the cm at the beginning of ride . they gave one of us a child swap fast pass .one parent and child go on the ride.when you come out the other adult takes the child again and uses the fast pass.this was on RnR AND TOT.not sure about other but i would they are the same

It depends on the ride.

As previously posted, you do the pass thing and wait at exit at Mgm.

BTMR you que together, when the train pulls up, the one who is not riding steps across the train seat row to the exit side of track and then switch riders when back. This is cool if you have an older child too because they get to ride 2x.

Just ask the CM at the front entrance to the line....it depends on how the que line is structured.

We were just there in July and used the child swap on many rides. For the majority, the CM at the entrance of the ride gave us a ticket that says good for up to 3 riders. When the 1st parent came off with the kids, the second parent could go through the FP line with 2 guests, so the kids got to ride twice!
As far as height restrictions, yes they are very strict. Last year, my daughter was just at the 48 inch mark - they measured her at 3 different points in the line before she got on RnR.
