Parent Swap Rides

Can we do the parent swap on every ride or is there a list of rides that have that option available? We have a 6 year old who will be tall enough to ride almost all the rides and a 2 year old who obviously won't be able to. Would the 6yo be able to ride with each of us when we switch out?

I think that, yes, the 6yo gets to go with each of you. But I don't know the list of rides that have it available.

It's available on all the rides that have height restrictions, Space Mountain, ToT, Test Track, etc. It won't be available for things like Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, etc. Your 6 yo will get to ride twice if he wants, the person swapping can bring up to two others back on the ride with them so they don't have to ride alone. It's a really nice set up. Be sure to use FastPasses too.

You are planning on having the 2 year old go on rides like Peter Pan, Dumbo, IASW, right? These are pretty low-gear attractions, and great for a 2 year old.

My girls are 5 years apart, and my older DD was ALWAYS able to go again.

Good news for you is that most rides do have a gift area at the end of the rides that you can wait in, which is a great way to get out of the heat for awhile.

I'm an expert at this, because we have been doing this forever. When my youngest was younger we had to do this, and then when the DD#2 came, we had to do this, and I'm very excited to say, that this is the first year since 1999 that we can ride the rides as an entire family I am so excited!!!!!
