Parent Swap Question

Hi everyone. Quick question we are going again in Aug and I got to thinking. See my son has Sensory Inergation Disorder and can compensate quite well considering his issues. However last time we went I had never been on Haunted Masion and my husband really really wanted to go on it. Well had I known that darn thing went backwards down a hill I would have skiped it. Needless to say my son freaked out. This was several yrs ago however I don't think that I'm gonna even try to put him though that again. What I wonder is can we kid swap with an older child so that one can stay with him or would I have to wait in line again after everyone else got off. If thats the case I'll just miss it no big deal but just wondered if you could swap because of a need of an older child or if they just look at you weird and think your trying skip the line. We most likely won't get a GAC because I can usualy deal ok without alot of help in that area. However this is one area I had a bit of concern with. Thanks in advance for the advice.

According to some research that I have done, Child swap is available at the Haunted Mansion. Not sure exactly where you would need to be, but my research says that it can be done.

You'd be amazed at how wonderful the CM's are about accomodating any requests from guests in this area.

Just ask the CM before entering the queue and let them know immediately that you need to do a Swap due to a special need.

I highly doubt that they would make you trek all the back to City Hall to get a GAC for a simple swap.

IMO, you need to get the GAC. It's better to have it and not use it than to need it and not have it. While the CMs really are great, seeing the GAC will tell them that your son does in fact have a hidden disability as opposed to just not in the mood for riding so they're that much more likely to go out of their way to help you.
