PARASAILING: How high is 460 feet, really??!!!!!!!

Considering parasailing at Contemporary in Sept. during our 10-yr anniversary trip. Looking for someting to surprise the DH with.
Heard we can do tandem flight for $160, 8-10 mins at 460 feet.

I'm not the flyer in the family by any means... but DH would love it and he'd be surprised that I'd be willing to do something so 'adventurous'.

So ---- I'm sure there's someone out there who has done this. Are you really at 460 feet for the entire 8-10 mins? or is part of that 8-10 mins the being reeled out and being reeled back in again? Is it REALLY THAT high?
I watched a clip on youtube and it didn;t seem like you were 100 feet higher than the Contemporary.

I want to do it!! But don't want to ruin the experience by FREAKING out when we reach maximum height!!
