Sorry, I have no idea where to post this, I hope it's appropriate to ask this here.

Can anyone share their experience parasailing at WDW? Where do you sign up? Where do you meet? How was the actual parasailing experience itself? Was it amazing to see the sights of WDW?

Very important question: Do you take off from a dock or do you go onto a boat and take off from there? I get really seasick so if I have to go on a boat with other parasailers and wait for them while they go, it might be a dealbreaker.

I've always wanted to parasail and thought it would be so much more fun to do it at WDW than at a beach.

Thanks for the information!

My son and his "then" girlfriend did this on his high school graduation trip (he was 18 and she was 17). They went Tandem. We arranged it at the Contemporary Resort (actually had to push it back a day because of thunderstorms). They did it off the boat and landed on the boat. They never got wet. They had a blast doing it...my son said it was really "cool" to be above everything and see all the great sites. If I do this right, here is a picture:

We took all of our adult kids parasailing trip before last (8 adults) and we had a blast. We all went single. I was the most afraid and although I thought it was a unique experience, I'm not sure I'd go up again. Loved riding in the boat and watching the others. I do remember you could see MK's Castle and Epcot's SpaceShip Earth quite well from up there. Not sure what else because I kept watching the water for alligators. :rotfl:

Just keep in mind that tips are expected for the boat captain and the assistant who helps you on/off with the harnesses.

Pretty much confirming everything everyone else said... and it would take a pretty windy day to make anyone seasick on Bay Lake/Seven Seas Lagoon... so windy that they probably wouldn't let you parasail anyway.
