Parasailing at CC?

I should know this but, is there a minimum age for parasailing at Castaway Cay?
DS has recently seen a commercial which shows someone parasailing and he came out with "Next time we go on the Disney boat I want to do that!". This is the same kid who had a heart attack going up high on Dumbo. We probably wont be on the boat for a few more years, so I was just wondering, if he could handle it then would he be allowed to do it.

Disney Excursions list states they must be 8 yrs or older with
minimum wgt of 90 lbs. Under age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Hope this helps, have fun.

Did the parasailing in October- what fun and I am afraid of heights!

They will let you go up tandem weather/conditions/weight limit permiting.

DH & I did it in July and loved it...except that we couldnt go up together because of the weather(I made sure we made the weight max before I booked it!).
DS will be 8 when we go next time, as long as my plan works and we go when I hope to. That would be great if he could go up...plus it will give me an excuse to go again. Now I have almost 3 years to figure out how to break it to youngest DS that he cant do it.
