I'm not sure where to ask this, so I hope this is the right place! Has anyone done either the Paramount or Warner Brothers tours, or both? They are both $53 or $54 each. Which is better? I think we can only do one. They both seem to get good reviews on TripAdvisor.

Thanks!

I did the Warner Brothers Studio Tour in May 2013 and it was fantastic. They took us through working sets (Big Bang Theory and The Mentalist), the outdoor space where lots of shows (including Gilmore Girls!!!!) was filmed and into a costume museum with a full Harry Potter costume exhibit. Oh...and you get to sit on the Friends couch and take your photo! Very great use of time and highly recommended.

Cool, thank you. We are also planning to go to Universal. Is that tour enough? Or should we still do one of the others as well? Tough decisions.

I haven't been on the Universal tour in about 10 years, but I recently heard that it has been scaled down in quality and scope over the years. The version I did so long ago paled in comparison to the Warner Brothers tour, so I can't imagine how skimpy it is now. Others may be able to chime in with more recent experience though.

Another vote for Warner Brothers!

We did it in March this year and had fun. Did the VIP tour on a Saturday and got to see the Big Bang set which was the highlight for DS9 as he loves that show. There's a lot of history there and the guide did a great job telling us about it.

We did both last summer. US has a lot to do many cool rides, shows & the studio tour. The tour at US does not compare to the one at Warner Bros. WB has a lot more to it because thats all it is. US is an amusement park. WB's tour is amaxing!!! We loved it. They had a vehicle museum with the bat mobiles & dukes of hazxard vehicles etc. Also an entire floor of Harry Potter stuff inc. The sorting hat that actually sorts "YOU"... I highly recommend both but US as an amusement park in whole & WB for the tour.

Be sure to give yourself a good hour if not a bit longer to get there. Traffic was thick even on a Saturday morning.

Looks like you already decided, but WB is a great tour. They have also recently added a whole section on the Batman films if you have any fans of Batman in your party. It looks really cool!
