You can pay cash. We got ours on board ship through the excursions so it was taken off our account & we had the tickets before leaving the ship. It cost the same as if we bought at the tramway. No discount but it saved time.

The ship DOES have a walking tour excursion that includes the Tramway, but my husband and I walked over by ourselves and rode. We don't particularly like organized walking tours.
It sounds to me like govac24 was saying that you could simply buy just the tickets to ride the Tram from the Shore Excursion Desk...or maybe at Guest Services. I don't know if you can, or can't....I could take a look at my Navigators to see......
Sorry it took so long to get back to you... we paid for them on board as an excursion so it was taken out of our account on board. The tickets were in our room when we got onboard & could use them anytime the tram was open while in port. We just walked over. Actually we went to Hill Top in the am & then after lunch walked over to the tramway. It's only about 1/2 block from the ship. I don't remember if the ticket booth at the tramway takes credit cards but it does take cash. The price we paid on board was the same price at the ticket booth. It was just convient for us to buy them while on board.Try this website for some more info:Paradise Tramway Hope it helps.
