Disney's new deal gives us the chance to think about changing our Candy Cane ressie to Paradise Pier. The cost would increase by a couple of hundred dollars, but that may be worth it. I'd appreciate any opinions about whether this upgrade would be worth it. What extra benefits would we get? Is it true that folks who stay at the DL Resorts are able to take advantage of the Magic Mornings every day (that they have it) of their stay? That alone might make it worth it for us. We'll be there May 31-June 6.

Thanks in advance . . . I learn so much from the DIS!

Meant to post last night and didn't get a chance....

Did you consider looking into changing your package to the PP on the new promotion? Someone said that switching from another offsite hotel to the DLH only cost them $18 difference!!!!! That's huge for all the DLR hotel guest perks.

You do know this website has it's own travel agency - Dreams Unlimited - and they can help you with that....

Yes, as a DLR hotel guest at any of the 3 hotels, you can use the MM any day that it is offered durign your stay. That is one perk. Another perk is that as a guest of PPH, you can access the special DCA entrance in the GCH, giving you a few minutes of an edge in getting to the TSMM line before other people, if you choose to. Another perk is that any purchases you make in the resort can be sent back to the DLR hotel you are in (for free) so you don't have to lug them around the parks or get an expensive locker.

Otherwise, staying at the PPH just gves you a little bit more of the Disney magic (Mickey shampoo bottles in the bathroom; Goofy statue in the lobby), but I think most of the DIS'ers here usually suggest staying at one of the cheaper hotels. I like staying onsite at one of the 3, but saving money and goiong with HoJo's or CCI is tempting!
