hello all
We are an English family coming to DL on aug 1st for 6 days and have booked a standard room in paradise pier.
It's our 3rd visit with DD13 12 and 5. We will be coming down via San Francisco and Yosemite so this is the chaos and magic before our Tinkerbell flight back to London.
Completely gutted to just learn that our favourite ride thunder railroad is closed especially as DD5 has been eating her greens and has hit 40 inches so she coulld have joined us for the magical ride when the fireworks start ... Happened by accident on year 1 !
Anyway - its our first PP stay as we swopped the Grand California experience for more days.
We have been reading up and we are thinking of getting a pool side ( Cabana ?) room as for our kids it might make sense to have the patio to pool experience . Has anyone done this ... Is it a good option. We kinda like the idea of being able to be out in the open and not trapped behind a glass window !
I'd love the view room of the resort but in truth we are rarely in the room at night and during the day down at the pool so it would be great for one night then not really experienced after that. If we have a pool room with patio I think we can just run out and back to the pool In he morning which takes the hassle out of running up and down ?
Do these rooms have 2 double beds . Is there a sofa too plus the patio ?
Anyway - your views are welcomed.
