Paradise Pier Hotel Requests

I've never been to Disneyland but when I've been to Disney World, I've found information on this site of things to request at the hotel before arriving, such as a preferred room location. We are going to stay at PPH in a few weeks and I'm wondering if there's anything that I should arrange/request from the front desk beforehand to make our stay more enjoyable. We just have a standard room reserved. Thanks in advance for your help!

You might luck out and get a park view room. No guarantees.

I had a park view three years ago and got top floor. The view was awesome! With World of Color, it will be even better.

Is it preferable to stay and one tower versus the other and if so, is that something that can be requested? Also, is a certain floor better and can that be requested?

There is only one tower. Half the rooms will have a view of DCA and half will have a view of the parking lot. The standard views are of the parking lot. I would ask for a higher room so there is less noise.
