I'll be staying there (my first time at a Disneyland resort hotel!) and i was wondering a few things.

Do they have complimentary breakfast?
-What are the prices of the restaurants in the hotel?

Do you have to pay extra for a character wake up call?

Do you have to pay for wifi?

Is there anything else I should know?

They do not offer a complimentary breakfast. If you go to allears.net, you may be able to find a menu for the restaurant there. I don't keep up with it because it seems like they're always changing. Yamabuki is no longer there, L&S character meal is gone.....

Something else you should know is that there are no laundry facilities on the property, but you can walk next door to the DLH and use them there.

NO, none of the resort hotels have comp breakfast.

Go to www.allears.net and check the prices on what you would eat.

NO
Do you have to pay for wifi?
Included in the resort fee.

Check out this sticky from above, it should answer many questions.

about the character call.. you may want to cal the hotel. it may not be offered unless it's part of your package you purchased. usually that is a promotional thing.

We love the Paradise Pier.

When you take the elevators down to the lobby there are sign that point you out of the back of the hotel and through downtown Disney to get to Disneyland. We find it much easier to go out the front door and through the Grand Californian Hotel to get to Disney.

If you go to the pool (3rd floor I believe) you can go around the side of the building by the pool and they pipe in the music for the fireworks. Not the best view of the fireworks but still nice if you have children.

The rooms have a small fridge we take water and soda with us. The room service is very fast. We can put the kids in the bath and by the time they are done dinner is there. If you have your own drink it is really not much more expensive than downtown Disney.

On one of the tv channels at night one of the princesses will read you a bedtime story.

Have fun!

When you call to arrange a wakeup call, you will just get Mickey. It just happens. :)

Not sure they officially have wifi in the rooms, but they definitely have wired. And in our 3 experiences with PPH, each time we end up having wifi, as they have it in the public areas, and the "waves" don't seem to understand that they should stay put. :rotfl:

PCH Grill is PPH's restaurant, and their only breakfast is a character meal. If we don't do a character b'fast, we like to just have granola bars in the early morning, then catch a late breakfast in the parks (love Tomorrowland Terrace!). PCH Grill's dinner has a few yum offerings, in our vegetarian opinions! :)

We got mixed up on our first stay, too. They make such a big deal of the character calls before your vacation, and we were absolutely shocked when mickey was on the wakeup call! Thought we'd gotten something special. But now we know it just is what it is. :)
