I keep thinking of things I forgot to ask, does PP have hairdryers in the room, will they hold our luggage until our late flight? Where do we go to add more days onto our tickets? Just at the ticket windows at the park or can it be done at the hotel?

Yes to the hair dryers and luggage holding. I know that if you booked a package thru Disney travel (including AAA and costco) you can do it at the travel office in DTD. You have to walk almost past the office on your way from the hotel to the park. You may also be able to do it at the ticket booths. I dont think the hotel can help you with it. They sell tickets, but I dont think they can add days on. The travel office in DTD is open until 5pm every day.

Hello
I am having a beer right now in the surfside lounge @ paradise pier while the family naps, (they have wifi internet connection) To answer your question, yes there is a hairdryer in the room. And all hotels will watch your luggage until you have to leave for a late flight, some even provide a hospitality room for showers. Not sure about this one though, maybe someone else knows.
One thing to mention about paradise pier that I am dissapointed in is the lake of food here from 2pm to about 5pm...can't order anything hot in the bar, and the pch grill is also closed. All I am able to do is order another beer...
Have a fun trip, Ours is going great. Even got picked to go on Nemo for an advanced trial run. The kids loved it!

How wonderful in another week I will be in your shoes, well probably not drinking a beer, I am a sissy drinker and go for the fruity girl drinks.:rotfl: I can not wait though!!!

I have a question about the water slide--I'll try here in these questions as it's somewhat active and generic about PP. From pictures I assume the water slide doesn't go into the pool but is separate? I read somewhere that they are refurbishing it to make it a "california screamin" waterslide. Just curious to hear more details about the waterslide and the pool--how fun would it be for 6/7/8 yos.

That's correct the slide does not empty to a pool like at Gch or DLH. I haven't heard anything abbout a "california screamin'" slide but that sound fun. My then 5yo and 9yo used the slide in Feb and had a great time. Dh and I even went down it to check it out. It was lots of fun and i'ms ure 6/7/8 yos would enjoy it.
