Has anyone stayed here or heard of this place? It seems nice and good value for a 5 bedroom, but I'd love to hear from someone in the know. TIA

I would love to know myself, I have been staying onsite since my first trip in 1976..but Disney has finally priced me out, I had an incredibly rude check in experience at the Polynesian (Wayne) and I just got fed up,with the service as compared to the price...its to bad, but I look forward to the experience of staying here.

All I can tell you is that it's a new subdivision on Westside Blvd. ( map calls it Avalon Blvd) On the map it's #107. This will show you where it is but the map is a few years old so it only shows where the homes would be, no construction had begun.

It is on Westside -Avalon is the road opposite there that continues north of 192 .It is a new development which I passed nearly everyday last month but hardly ever saw anyone there -no cars and a lot of the time the barrier was up with no one on the gate.I believe there are plans to continue with the building of it but in the current climate I think it may have been halted.I will be very close to it at the end of the month so can update then if it's not too late.

Jan, do you go that way to get to the Palms? We stayed in that subdivision about 10 years ago and went the long way around. Is this way shorter and can/do you use Funie Steed to get to Entry Point? Just curious.

Yes I always use Westside then turn right at Florence Villa Grove Road.I am longing for the day the west end of Funie Steed is re opened and finished but at the moment -or at least last month -it was blocked off at the Westside intersection and there were no signs of work going on there.Maybe Osceola has no $$ to finish it off yet but when they do it will be marvelous.
