Paradise Garden Grill?

I am curious about something. Last month when we went to Disneyland I wanted to try Paradise Garden Grill...I had heard that the food was good there, and that it was Greek stuff such as gyros. We get there and it's burgers and fries?? Did the menu change? I was a little disappointed so we went somewhere else!

I know they converted it to Mexican items for the Viva Navidad festivities during the holidays. Now the menu posted on Disneyland.com features burgers and such, so my guess is that when Viva Navidad ended in January, they converted it from Greek to burger and fries.

I was told the change in menu is just until Taste Pilots reopens.

That would make sense and make us very happy. I guess there really isn't anywhere else to get burgers in DCA than Taste Pilots. Never thought about it since we don't usually go looking for burgers.

The pp is right. Once taste pilots closed for refurb there was no other place to get a burger. They've converted paradise garden to fit that need. i think the general consensus is that once taste pilots reopens, paradise garden will once again serve delicious skewers.

I am so happy to hear this is just temporary! This was our GoTo Place for lunch and we were sooooo disappointed when we went for lunch on 02/05 and found burgers!

I don't think the new Grizzly Airfield area is supposed to open until May. Or perhaps that was just the date for Soarin? Pretty bummed - those skewers were my favorite meal in both parks!

Yeah, I was disappointed as I LOVE greek food and wanted something healthier. Now, what about Flo's? We ate there and LOVED it, but it was just sandwiches, not the platters I've seen. And each sandwich only came with coleslaw (I wish it had come with another side). Very good, though!

That is so disappointing! We don't eat burgers, and I loved the skewers. That was one of my favorite meals in both parks. Bummer. I get that there was no place for burgers without Taste Pilots, but now there is no place for skewers!!!

What!? I hope they didn't do away with the platter dinners! It's our absolute favorite place to eat!

I checked the menu. It's completely different now. No more turkey platter, which I absolutely loved.

I thought Taste Pilot's is supposed to open sooner than Grizzly Airfield? Anyone remember hearing/reading about that?

Yeah, I was surprised and a little annoyed, but to be honest, I am not really a turkey platter type person, it just seemed like more food. The roast beef sandwich was great but all it came with was coleslaw which makes for a small meal.

I DO like the look of that Turkey sandwhich though. And their pasta salad is DELICIOUS!
