Went to get my favorite chicken skewers tonight, and the menu is completely changed.

The Mediterranean is out, and it's burgers and chicken strips now.(Literally.)

So bummed. It was pretty much my "healthy" option in DCA, and was a unique offering.

I read this is temporary during the refurb of Taste Pilots. But, I'm still bummed too!

Yes we discovered that last week. We were told that since Taste Pilots was closed, they decided to offer burgers here. Another fun tidbit, the CM there said it likely was a permanent change. (who knows) but its tough that we lost a nice alternative eatery.

Oh no!! This is where they had the skewers and rice, correct? If I recall the plate was pretty big!! We always split it. It was delicious too. Bummer!!!

That would be a big bummer! My favorite counter service in either park.

Make sure to leave comments about this at Chamber of Commerce or on the Disney website. The more feedback they get about support for the mediterranean menu, the better!

We discovered the menu change over our Christmas trip ~ it was tacos and things to go along with the Feliz Navidad event going on.

The CMs assured us ;) that it would be "back to normal" after the holiday event but then one came over and said "don't count on it" :confused3

DisneylandToday on Twitter (official page) said that the Mediterranean menu will be back after Taste Pilot's Grill reopens. Sucks for us because we really wanted to try the skewers next month. There are already so many places that offer crap like burgers/pizza/nuggets...so it's annoying that they changed one of the better sounding places.

Meanwhile the kids get whole wheat tortillas instead of proper ones, and brown rice with peas instead of Mexican rice at the Mexican place because it's "healthy". Not healthy if they can't eat it because it's disgusting and it goes in the trash!

No skewers? No fabulous tofu and veggie skewers?

No skewers of any kind, bumbershoot, at least there.

Once I recover from the races I'll send a email. In the scheme of things, not a huge deal, but a bummer nonetheless.

I do hope they bring them back. It was definitely a go-to for me.
