We are thinking of upgrading to concierge! We are going Dec 27 - Jan 1st! Any thoughts? We stayed at the Poly Concierge in July. Are they about the same? We got snacks all day, free soda's, bfast and a nice dinner snack! It was lovely! Any thoughts? Is it worth the upgrade

There's some discussion of the benefits of Concierge at PP in the final few posts of this thread:

I put a $70 - $100 per day value on it depending on your family & how you use it.

Let us know what you do & have fun. :thumbsup2

oh, we called and booked the concierge! We are going at a spendy time, so I think the amount we will save on drinks and snacks etc is sooooo worth it!!!!

We stayed there in Feb and it was our 1st time doing concierge in any of the 3 DLR hotels and we had a fabulous time. We've never been to WDW so I can't compare but it sounds similar to your experience there. There's a continental brekafast in the morning snacks throughout the day and wine/cheese in the early evening. I believe that PPH concierge closes the earliest amongst the other 2 hotels. I think it closes at 8pm whereas DLH and GCH closes at 10pm. If you think you'll be back to your hotel in the afternoons to take advantage of the food/and dirnks definitely book concierge. We paid for a city/standard view and got upgraded to a DCA view and it was stunning.

We have stayed at the Poly concierge and will be staying at the PP concierge in November. I will post a comparison when we get back so you will have a better idea of how those two specifically compare.

Loved the great coffee, the BEST pastries ever, I loved having the kids drink milk whenever we popped in (something healthy!), we took full advantage of the wine and appetizer hour (just make sure you know the time!). Don't be shy about taking something back to your room because they will close down promptly and you might want a little snack later (just pop it in your fridge). Also grab the uncrustables for the park along with a beverage or two (per person of course!).

I am so excited that we decided to book the concierge! We will take full advantage of everything!! WOO HOOOO
