Am I correct in understanding there isn't a parade at HS or AK anymore?

Sadly yes...only MK has a parade
Until Sept. 1st DHS will have a Frozen parade that last about 5 minutes

Is that really how long the Frozen parade lasts? I changed our plans around to accommodate THAT?

It's really a "processional" to introduce Anna and Elsa at the stage and then moves on to exit at the JTA area.
