Anyone know the times or even if there will be any parades in Feburary. I will be there Feb. 7 and 8th. Thanks for the help.

Currently, the scuttle is that there will be no parades in Feb, due to the repaving of main street. This has not been announced by Disney, but some insiders have posted this information. I am bummed, as we are there in Feb. too. But, Fantasmic is supposed to be showing every night, if you like that show.

There will be the Pixar Parade in DCA that's about it. Which kinda sucks because we will be there Feb 3-7 but it's still Disneyland not Alberta with the snow and cold lol

Oh that is REALLY disappointing...we'll be there Feb 19-22nd...and I was really wanting to see the parade...
Does anyone know anything about the fireworks...or Aladdin?

This really dose suck since I am a big parade person. I hope to see Fantasmic. It is a awesome show. I have seen it many times in Fl.

The current "unofficial" word is that there will be no parades at all, fireworks on weekends only, and Fantasmic! nightly (which is an addition for that time of year) until Main Street work is done.

Again, Disney has not officially said any of this (as far as I have heard/read), but others have shared it in various places.

There will still be a parade in DCA but not in DL. I also heard no fireworks during the repaving but they will have F! nightly. Also in DCA will be the DEP on weekends so 2 parades in DCA. :)

I called Disney yesterday and was told that during our stay (Feb 4-8) that there are NO parades listed and NO fireworks. However, the rep did tell me that F! is running all month with no interruptions. She was not 100% sure about the parades and fireworks, but when she checked "her schedule" there was nothing listed for them.... she wasn't sure if that was because they were switching from YOMD theme to the Celebration theme or what. :confused3

Pretty bummed about the fireworks... but... it is DL and F! is still on, so life is still very good!

Why does it take a month to repave a street? What am I missing? :confused3

- 100,000s of people needing to be able to go in and out of the Main entrance in that same location.
- Doing the street work while keeping shops accessible.
- Trolley tracks
Who knows what else.

Are you kidding??? LOL I want to know where you live that repaving doesn't take 3 months? LOL Seriously........

and Dreams is right, they can only work at night, they can only do certain parts at a time, they have to make sure they are out of the parks and the street is cleaned before they open for the day, stores and sidewalks must be accessible, there are so many reasons it will take this long.
