Can anyone please tell me which direction the parades run in the Disneyland Park? I have read they go from Main Street USA and finish in Fantasyland, and then another one said the opposite - which is right?

My DD would love to see the Princesses on the parade - is there a best place to watch from for this?

Thanks.

Hi,

Everytime I've seen the Park main parade (loads of times lol) its gone from Fantasyland to Main St. Best place to see the Princesses get off and dance in the parade is in Fantasyland, near the start of the parade (if you stand at the top of the seating area at the Bella Notte, near the wall at Its a Small World, you'll be in just about the perfect position to see them). They also get off and dance near the stage area in front of the Castle.

When we were there the princesses also got off just in front of the castle and did the dancing, it was lovely. They also went and shook hands with some of the children because our niece was so excited that Belle went and saw her.

Thanks for the info. Do the Princesses get off both at the start and at the castle? If I stand near It's A Small World (like DLP Daft says) is there a chance of meeting a Princess? My DD would be thrilled if Snow White saw her!

We always wait on Main St. near the shops and it's fine to see the whole parade. The princesses don't get off there and honestly I've never seen them walk during the parade but I believe it's great when they do.

Another thing you can do is to queue near the castle to see the princesses and their princes and have your photo taken. It used to be every day from 10.30am-12.30 (they change every 30mins and the queue is long so if you do this, make sure you arrive early-ish)

Have a great time and I hope your DD meets Snow White:)

Stand near the entrance to Adventureland or at least in between the Frontierland and Adventureland entrances, this is where they get off near the castle, we stood at the Frontierland exit and they were a little further up from us. :)

There are 2 parade stops where the Princesses get off the floats and dance with their princes - near the beginning - stand almost opposite Bella Notte restaurant but slightly nearer Small World - and near the Castle. Stand on hub betwen entrance to Adventureland and Frontierland as said.
At Christmas when the parade was longer there was only the 2nd stop.

There is no guarantee the Princesses will shaje hands with any of the crowd but at least at one of these stops you should see them dance as well as on the floats.

If you look on DLRP magic there is info about the parade - the order of the floats etc and a plan of the parade stops

Exactly right - and when its not the Christmas or Halloween version of the parade, at least some of the princesses will usually come over to the children for a very short while and shake their hands and wave, just before they start dancing with their princes. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Jasmine each come off the floats and dance with their princes in the parade.
