What's the difference between Share A Dream Come True and SpectroMagic? Looks like SM and Wishes will be happening on the nights I did not plan to be at MK. Is it worth it to hop back to MK just to see SM and Wishes? Or will I be happy with seeing Share A Dream Come True?

Thanks!

I think it would be worth coming back for it. We love SM. Haven't seen Wishes yet so we're looking forward to that.

:cheer2: 55 days and counting

If you like fireworks and parades then it's well worth it to come back and see them.

Spectro is very different from Share a Dream Come True parade and IMHO much better!

It is definitely worth coming back for in my opinion. I personally would be sure to attend SM and Wishes over Share a Dream Come True. Spectromagic is so magical to watch, the lights coming down the streets in the dark, oh my and wishes, it's even more magical, I wouldn't miss those for the world!!

SpectroMagic has a lot of floats and people that are lit up with fiber optics. That's why it's held at night. I made it a point to bring DS5 and DD2 to it in Oct 04. They absolutely loved it! (So did I!) It's just not like any other parade I've seen. The music is addictive, there are lots of characters, and neat little surprises. I think anyone would enjoy it. I'd recommend you see it at least once. HTH

Well that settles it! We're hopping back to the MK!

One more question:

Is Fantasmic worth hopping to MGM for after a day at AK?

Yes, I think it's definitely worth it to hop over to MGM to see Fantasmic! My DD say ending our vacation with Fantasmic is their favorite thing to do.

We often miss SADCT, but NEVER miss Spectro and only very occasionally miss Wishes (and we go every week) Don't miss these treasures!

ABSOLUTELY!!!! My favorite Nighttime show!

In fact, we'll be doing exactly that tomorrow for our 50th park day anniversary!

I definitely think it's worth the hop over to MGM for Fantasmic, my dd4 was a little frightened at times with the loud noises, as we know Mickey is fighting the villains, but it was a great show and well worth seeing and the end was just magical!

For our family another bonus for the evening parades is that's the temperature is SO much more comfortable for us to be in than at 3:00 in the afternoon, especially in the summer. It definitely makes a difference when you have to stand in the same spot for over an hour!

Our plans include Spectromagic whenever it is offered.!You do not want to miss it. As a matter of fact I try to have my own spectro parade at least once a month...I play the spectro soundtrack and put Christmas lights on my children, their toys, our puppy and make them run through the house. It's not the same as being there... but hey I try :confused3

It is definitely worth it to go and see Spectromagic and Fantasmic. For this trip we're starting off our first night seeing Fantasmic. We were going to end off our trip with Spectromagic on the last night, but Disney keeps changing around the hours, and they changed closing time that night from 10 pm to 9 pm, and now there's no Spectromagic that night. So now we can only see it during the middle of our trip. But as long as we get to see it once I'll be happy.

This is probably a dumb question, but what about during MVMCP? Spectromagic does not run, right? Does the Christmas Parade have any Spectromagic elements to it?

Nope, there is no Spectro on party nights. The Christmas parade is very different from Spectromagic and there is nothing similar.
