Paraden& Dinner Q...

Hi,

Have just looked at the info for what time and shows everything is at next week - woohoo - and have just realised that the main parade has moved to 5pm which has kind of mesed up all my dinner reservations and means that I need to do a big rethink....

Can I just check , we have dinner booked at the Seqouia on Monday at 6 for our first night and we will be getting to the park around 3. So bearing in mind that we have never been before will I be able to see the parade (Where should we stand for seeing it and getting out quickly ?) and find my way back to the hotel by 6 or shall I change the reservation ? Its just that ds would have had a long day and will need feeding and he is also a bit particular about mealtimes....

But on the other hand it would be really nice to catch the parade on our first afternoon as we will def miss it on 2 other days due to a character tea and leaving on Friday boohoo

Could you change your dinner booking to 6.30?

That way, you'll have plenty time to see the parade, and get down through the parade route and out of the park. Then you can either walk or get the free shuttle to the Sequoia Lodge for your dinner reservation. I think you would be finished dinner by 8pm latest.

Might you also consider changing your character tea party reservation to an earlier slot too? We love the parade, think its one of the highlights of our stay, and therefore we watch it every afternoon we are there.

We had character tea at 3.30 at the Plaza Gardens.

I don't think you'll have enough time to get back to the hotel for 6pm. The time for the parade is 5pm but depending on where you stand you'll see it at different times... It starts by Pizza Bella Notte, near Small world so maybe that's the best place to watch the parade. Having said that, the whole of Main Street will be crowded but you can go throught the mall to get out of the park. In any case, it may be tricky to be back for 6. I'd suggest maybe having dinner in the park after the parade finishes or maybe changing the reservation for later... The parade is something you must see - I'd watch it every day if I could!
