On the MGMStudio.org website...It states that in the MK, the parade stops at special points & kids can join in.

Does anyone know where the "stops" are located.

I think it would be fun to let dd join in.

Thanks in advance:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I don't think the stops are really identified anywhere. But they stop pretty frequently so wherever you might be won't be too far from the action. Just make sure you line up early to be right along the street.

They definitely stop in front of the Castle. The kids really do enjoy going out there and dancing in the street with the characters. I am sure someone else here knows other spots that they stop.

Hope you get to enjoy this.

We've just come back.

The parade stops every so often and the characters dance in front of you but they did not pull any kids in to join. I think they stopped doing it recently when one of the workers died during a parade, unless they've started it again in the last week.

When the parade stops (which is often) it is stretched out over the parade route. Wherever you are you will be around one of the floats where the kids get to be involved. We were in front of the Country Bears and my sons got to be pirates with Captain Hook while my daughter was with the evil queen.

DS has been pulled in multiple times. However, on our last trip in March they weren't pulling children in then either. My assumption was due to the accident in Feb. also. Anyone else go since then and see the kids pulled in?

My DD is a WDW CM--and a character in the parade. The 'parade stops' have been eliminated for the time being. They will probably be back again but there's no specific time frame for that right now. They are working on some adjustments since the horrible accident in February.

When they were doing the 'stops', there were five of them along the route--but not all five were done every day. Some days the stops were completely eliminated. A lot depended on weather and other factors which we guests aren't aware of--for example a mechanical problem or a CM becoming ill--something which occurred after the parade has started . If you notice the parade moving at a fast rate, then you can be sure there is some type of problem and they're trying to get the CM's off-stage quickly.
