Parade!

Okay this is a slightly weird question, but I was wondering if anyone knew how long a typical parade say Soundsational take to get to one end of the route to the other? I want to time of one performer from start to finish. I would love to be a parade performer and I am curious how long they dance!

The current parade, "Soundsational" is about 20-25 minutes from City Hall to it's a small world (or vice-versa).

And on days like today, done in near 90 degree weather.

A little bit off topic, but where is the best spot to view the parade without having to camp up all afternoon?

A little bit off topic, but where is the best spot to view the parade without having to camp up all afternoon?

We like to watch from the platform for the DL Railroad on Main Street. This gives you a bird's eye view of the parade and you get much more viewing time because you can see them coming down Main Street and then watch them as they go around Town Square. Plus, this viewing spot is never crowded! No need to camp out to get a good spot!

I would advise that you use this spot for the first parade because if you sit here for the second parade you are mostly looking at the back of the floats.

i have found one really nice cool time in may for the parade. we were near small world and watched the parade from there. sat about 35mins early It was along the wall so we sat on the wall. feet on the ground back against the rail. it was perfect. it was the 2ed time so it was coming from main street but i suspect that if we got there early enough for the first show it would be good spot. I'm gona try and get this spot for the Halloween parade since not doing tour as of now. (unless magic happens and then we can)
