Parade Viewing

Can anyone help me where are good spots to watch the parades in MK and DCA? which wat do they go?

For MK/DL best spot is at the end of Main street near the entrance to the castle. The parade runs from Small world, around the castle then down Main street.

If you park yourself on the inner ring of the turnaround at the end of Main Street you get to look at the Parade heading straight towards you then see it turn and head past you. Also, at that spot, characters often stop to dance and perform as it is quite wide.

At DCA we got an early spot right next to Playhouse Disney for the Electrial Parade. This is the very beginning of parade, just to the right of the VIP seats for the parade. They partially block off the walkway to the Hollywood area with benches and it is a great place to park yourself early. Especially if you have someone to run and get food/snacks while you wait. We had some people sit in front of us, but we had a great view and were able to get out of the park quickly after the parade.

Another good place is in front of the Wine Country Trattoria there are benches there that you can sit on and spaces to park your strollers. It is also close to the baby care center where - if you have a baby, are nusing or if you have a child that is potty training this is the ideal location.

Also you can get a glass of wine and sit and view the paridice peir. This is also close the the beer cart and other good places to bring food back too. we go out seats 1.5 hours early and had some food while we waited. Also we noticed that some people were moving the benches up (just before the parade began) so no one sat in front of them.

It can be a bit chilly so bring a jacket or blanket.

I also agree with the disneyland location. Sit in front of the catle on the curb facing the park entrance. My little one was picked to dance in the parade! This is the place that they do most of the dancing. Get there early though. These spots go fast.

Thank you so much for your replies, just one more question, The MK parade is on twicw while we are there which is better during the day or later in the evening?
