Sorry this is such a newbie question, but I'm not really a parade person. In fact my first full viewing of a parade was in 2013 at MNSSHP. I'm going to MVMCP in November (the 8th to be exact... the first party of the season), and I need help with suggestions of where to stand. I'm thinking Frontier land where it starts from. This way when it's over we can move on to other things while everyone else is still watching. Good idea? Bad idea? Opinions on exact spots? Also, how early should we stake our claim on our spot? It's just two adults. Thanks for any help! I really appreciate it. :)

1. I'm thinking Frontier land where it starts from.
2. This way when it's over we can move on to other things while everyone else is still watching.
3. Also, how early should we stake our claim on our spot?

1. Correct.
2. You COULD, but I would think that you would also want to be able
to see the spectacular, not-to-be-missed show that is actually projected on the front of the Castle, "Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks.
3. The really great place to see the parade, Celebrate the Magic, and the very special MVMCP fireworks… is in the Hub or at least on the northern half of Main Street.
It will be very, very busy in the prime locations and, most spots will be taken at least an hour before the start of the parade.

You COULD plan on watching the SECOND parade, but that still leave the problem of grabbing a good viewing spot for Celebrate the Magic, and the MVMCP fireworks.

Robo- thank you so much. That map is fantastic! Quick question... what are the 3 white "cross over" arrows? Just how to get from one land to another?

I love a good Robo Map! Thanks! We found waiting for the second parade makes it much more enjoyable. We ride whatever is open during the first and then find a curb on main street. Nice to sit down. The other place we like to view parades is across from Liberty Tree Tavern. There is that platform with the stocks. Next to that is a group of trees in a raised bed. You can sit on that raised bed and the rope will be right in front of you. But I think that spot is better for when the parade ends in Frontier Land.
