I know I've read somewhere about the parade stops at Magic Kingdom...my daughter just loves Belle and Peter Pan...

Thanks

The parade does stop throughout various locations. I know that for our last trip we sat on the corner in front of Casey's Hot Dog place. DS got pulled into the parade. We actually had 2 different times the parade stopped there. Both times they pulled about 6 kids from right where we were at into the parade. I know one of the floats was the villian float. Cruella pulled the children on our side out. I believe the other one was... ugh I don't remember. I do know that it was the brooms/mops that pulled the children out that time though.

We have found that is you want to see the princesses you sit in front of the Hall of Presidents. To see Peter Pan, sit at the corner by the shop diagonal across from the Hall of Presidents.

Actually, we were sitting around the Liberty Bell last week for the Share A Dream Come True Parade because I had found a list of "stops" on this board. Much to our dismay, the parade doesn't stop at all, and no guests were pulled up either. I think maybe it has been revised since the 100 Years is over....either that or we were at the wrong parade!! :D

Our last trip, we saw the Share a Dream parade twice... The first time we sat just down from LTT and DD got pulled in twice... First with Tigger, et al and the second with The princesses... She was in heaven the rest of the trip... The second time we saw the parade it was rainy (although not at the time of the parade)... the parade we saw was shortened and did not stop at all... Hope this helps someone...

Last Aug we watched the parade from front of Rail Road station at entrance - stop there included Snow White and 7 Dwarfs, also Alice, White Rabbit, etc - all danced in a circle with kids around Dopey.

We watched from the same spot! We were across from the Liberty Bell, at the stockade platform. The parade did stop in that area. They asked some kids to join in. The funnier thing I noticed was with the villains. Cruella taught the kids how to do an evil laugh. Then when it was time for the kids to go back to their families, she told them all to get lost. :smooth:

My DD is a CM at WDW and frequently performs in the Share a Dream Come True parade. The parade definitely DOES have parade stops--usually 5 or 6 !!! However, occasionally some or all of the stops must be eliminated-(the parade is modified)usuallybecause of weather-- although sometimes due to a reason we guests will not be aware of. For example, if one of the characters in a snowglobe feels ill, there is a signal he can give. Then "stops" will immediately be cancelled and the parade will speed up because a snowglobe character has no way to "escape" so-to-speak. Sometimes there are mechanical problems which necessitate the elimination of "stops." So--if you're at Share a Dream and there are no stops--you'll know that there was some kind of problem.

As for the Princeses, if you stand across the street from the Liberty Tree tavern, the Snow White/Pinocchio float will stop right in this area and Snow White will bring children out to dance with her. later in the parade, the huge Princess Snow Globe float will stop here also--the bridesmaids who dance around this float will bring children out to wave at the Princess/Brides. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful time.

Yes, thanks for the info. How disappointing though - we were definitely at the right parade last Thursday, and it definitely did NOT stop. That's really unfortunate - we were all looking forward to it, especially the 4 year old we travelled with. The weather was absolutely beautiful, so I suppose it was mechanical of some sort. We recently rewatched our home movie, and it definitely didn't stop - just for future knowledge, do any other CMs know if a parade is being rushed at all? Like, if, for example, there is a thunderstorm in the forecast that might speed the floats up a bit, will the CMs before the start of the parade have that information so that we can ask and perhaps skip the parade on any given day and catch it at a different time?
