Parade Fliming Dates for 12/05

Can anyone tell me when they will be filming the Christmas Parade this Dec. and is it one day or multiple days that they do this. Is it best to avoid the MK at this time? Wondering what the crowds are like for this. I am trying to plan our trip and I think I read where it is the first week of Dec. and wondering if I should back up our trip to the week after Thanksgiving. Thanks for any advice and answers.

They usually tape it the first weekend in December over 3 days or more. But there's no guarantee it will be the same this year.

Best guess based upon past years would be Dec 2nd - 4th. It is a nightmare to get down Main St but once past those crowds I didn't find the MK any more crowded than a normal weekend.
