Parade direction with one, two parades?

If there is only one parade scheduled for the day, such as Paint the Night, which direction does it go?

If there will be two parades, an afternoon parade and then Paint the Night at night, which direction do they each go?

The first Paint The Night parade of the day starts at Its A Small World and goes towards Main Street

The second Paint The Night parade of the day starts at Main Street and goes towards Its A Small World

From what I understand, there is only enough space behind Main Street to store one parade. So on days when there is one Soundsational/A Christmas Fantasy and one (or two) PtN, Soundsational/A Christmas Fantasy will travel from Main Street to IaSW and then the first PtN will go from IaSW to Main Street. If there is a second PtN, it will go from Main Street to IaSW.

For days when there are two afternoon parades (e.g., Thanksgiving when A Christmas Fantasy is being presented twice) and two PtNs, I think the first afternoon parade will go from IaSW to MS and the second will go from MS to IaSW. Then the first PtN will go from IaSW to MS and the second will go from MS to IaSW. This way, there is only one parade behind MS at any given time.

Thank you for this info. So in the case of one Soundsational/A Christmas Fantasy and one PtN, do they position the afternoon parade during the night behind Main Street so it is in place to begin there the next day, and also move PtN during the night from behind Main Street back down to IaSM so it is in position to start there the next day?

Yes...they will position the parades to be in the correct starting spots after the park closes to the public.
