Paper ticket questions?

We're a military family and just purchased our 14 day unlimited tickets, but they're cardstock and require a signature on them. I was wondering if we can switch for plastic ? And if not, what do I do about my kids' signatures? (I'm only concerned about my 9 year old).

Also, should we visit guest services to activate them first before we go to the gate? Thanks!

I think you should be able to take those to guest services and have them converted to the ticket size that will fit in your Lanyards. I bought my tickets at AAA and they issue a paper 8 x 11 paper ticket. I went to the guest services just outside Universal studios entrance and they converted them to smaller tickets at no cost. Hope this helps.

Ours are the smaller ones, I guess it was more the signature that threw me off. I'll put them in lanyards too.

My boys have had Universal annual passes since they were in elementary school. I just always had them sign the back. Never really understood the need for kids to sign the tickets, but we just did it

Thanks! I'm used to plastic WDW tickets. Do they check/compare the signature on the ticket with another form of ID?

If your finger scan does not work, then they will require photo ID to confirm....but not for kids.
