Does anyone know how to make paper piercings? I have seen them sold on Ebay and was wondering if its something that is fairly easy to do. I would like to make some for my own Disney scrapbook after our trip in November.

Oops! I see that they are called Paper Piecings not piercings!! Duh!:rotfl2:

I have made a few. I like to use coloring book pages from the web and copy them onto paper. You cut them apart and reassemble in layers. I have trouble with explaining things clearly.
Example: If you wanted a Mickey--dressed, full body. I would first cut the entire shape out of black cardstock to use as a stable base. Then cut the clothes from colored cardstock and layer onto the base. You can use pieces of foam dots to make certain things pop out. I draw small details on with markers when I am finished. Hope this helps.

Check www.disneyclips.com for some really nice clipart that can be used also.

I thought maybe this was what they did but of course Ebayers aren't going to share how they make them! :thumbsup2 Thank you! I will have to practice making a few before we go on our trip!

One question though-are you using scissors or a craft knife when you cut the original artwork?

You may have to use both in order to get to all the spots you will need to reach. I have a small pair of bumble bee scissors that I use--but a pair of cuticle scissers would do in a pinch.
Have fun. I like adding these to my layouts especially at Christmas because you can make your own that are unlike any you could buy. Plus some of the ones available are really pricey. If you are like me--I come home with very little money left over--and lots of memories to scrap.:goodvibes

So true!! Yes, I can't wait to scrapbook this WDW vacation since we will be there at the holiday time! I have been collecting things when I see them on sale in anticipation of this trip's scrapbook(s);) !
