I just wanted to let anyone know that might be looking for the magnetic paper for the door signs, that I was able to find it at Office Depot. I know there was another person who had asked where they could find it, so I just wanted to post this in case they were still looking for it. Also, the packs that I found were 10 sheets and it was around $15. :D

We got ours at Wal-Mart. Can't remember the price but it was fairly inexpensive.

What is the deal with the door signs? Does everyone make a personalized one? What is the Disney one you bought at Big Lots?

Thanks,
Laurie

What kind of signs are we talking about?? Just like personalized ones for the cabins??

I just used card stock to make my sign and then I had a roll of magnetic tape that I used to attach it to the door.

The door signs are just something that most people do for fun ( I think). Next week will be our first cruise, so I'm just finding out about these things too. But from what I understand a lot of people here from the boards like to make signs so that people in their party will be able to find their stateroom easily (especially for the kids), or if to note a special occasion (we are celebrating the DH birthday on the day we set sail, so that's the reason I want to do one), or some people like to signify that they are part of the DIS boards. I guess everyone has their own reasons, but like I said I wanted to do something special for my DH's B-day, not to mention I thought it would be something to hang onto for memoribilia!

Here's an example.
