Hi
When you say a countdown chain do you mean a chain made of paper cut into strips and then each day one strip is cut from the chain?
We frequently make these in the primary grades at my school.

If this is what you are looking for then this is what I've started,,

I only have made a Disney countdown chain,,,the above was just an example ,,not the actual chain,,it's seven different templates of different christmas Disney
Characters,,do you still want me to post it?
