PAP discount history

DH and I have been USO/IoA PAP for a few years now.
It is renewal time for us.
Seems like everytime we renew, just a month or so later they offer a BOGO (Buy One Year, Get Two).
Does anyone recall this offer and the conditions?
Just wondering before we again pay for renewing our passes, only to have a BOGO released soon afterwards.
Their PAP cost is very reasonable and I can't complain. But just wondering if BOGO is on the horizon.

Renewal rate is usually $99, a new pass BOGOF is $189 but this year I wonder if they will promote the premium pass rather than the preferred pass ? u don't save much on a BOGOF on renewal so u wont really lose that much if they do do a certain offer

In the past the buy one get one free deal required you be a florida resident. When buying the pass in person you had your residency checked. This did not occur online though so many people (including myself) were able to purchase it without living in Florida. The only other restriction I can think of is that you had to activate it by the end of the year or it activated on its own so you started losing days. Also if your pass has already expired you would not get free parking on the first visit so you would pay an extra $11 for that. I would stop thinking about what might show up later on and if you want to keep a pass just pay the $99 to renew. At best you might be saving around $10 a year.

Also new passes are now use the regular ticket material so if you would like to continue to have a plastic card instead of a tyvek pass then you would need to renew your current pass.

the florida resident restriction came after the bealls offer was out there for awhile. anyone could get that special promo the first 5 weeks it started.

i got mine then.

after a short time period, the florida residency clause came in.

when i had my photo made for the ap, it was not an issue for me residing out of state.

past history on the ap promos has been every other year.
i don't think the pap will have the promo like it did last year.

the premium one might be pushed more

i agree w/ macraven.... they just had the promo in the fall (that's when we bought the Beall's BOGOF AP), not sure if it's likely to pop up again soo. It was offered to anyone in the beginning, but switched to Fla. only residents later. (which, i might add, is when we purchased ours and we didn't have any problems activating our AP's...they only take your name and address for "mailings", they don't say "oh, you don't live in Fla., you can't have this AP".... Our AP's are a heavy-duty stock paper...kinda smooth feeling....can't be ripped...DS tried!
