Pansonic FH25 vs. ZS8

The FH25 actually gets slightly better reviews on Amazon than the zs8.

Does anyone know what the difference is between these models other than the optical zoom, megapixels and screen size and price?

I cannot figure out from the specs if it is the same sensor in both cameras?
The lens appears to be the same on both models.

I don't know the differences off hand, but I did order the ZS8 and it is a sweet little camera. I already have the ZS3 Lumix, which I love...but the zooming capabilities on the ZS8 are crazy good for a P&S. The ZS8 is a gift, we *tested* it since we ordered it from Amazon and needed to know if it worked /return policy etc. Anyway, I wish I had the extra $ to have ordered one for myself. It was $169.99 total delivered. Not sure of this will help you but here is a thread on the ZS8 I had started:
