Well, I finally got a few panning shots that I am somewhat proud of! It has taken a long time and alot of practice, but tonight, either I reaped the benefits of my learning or I just got lucky. Either way, they worked MUCH better than I have ever been able to get before. I thought I'd share a few. This is a running piping plover at the beach. I take photos every year of the pair that nests on the local beach and send them to the Audubon representatives that take care of this area. I thought I would try some panning shots to give them something cooler to look at as well. Here are a few, just cropped examples. Not super great, but I'm satisfied with them!
