1) We went on a "tour" of the new Pandora (aka, "Avatarland") at AK.
. . . we saw the layouts
. . . we learned of the rides and restaurants
. . . we saw HOW BIG the "land" is, at 47 acres
. . . we were told to not reveal what we saw, under severe penalty (yes, they are serious about this)
. . . so, there will no secret-stuff in this posting
. . . we were given a brochure about Pandora, including language phrases for thing such as "hello", "please", etc
. . . we heard from tour guides from ACE (aka, Alpha Centauri Expeditions)
2) Many of us are not fans of Avatar, but agreed the ride should be really something.
. . . this is to be far beyond Soarin' technologically
. . . there are lots of new technology for each of the three attractions

47 acres? The construction area is 10-11 acres.

The ACE stuff was seen at D23.

Three attractions... That's very intriguing I'm assuming the third is not a ride but rather a walk through or something of that sorts.

Thanks info, but the 47 acres is clearly wrong. The area available where CMM used to be is only 16 acres, and not all of it will be part of the finished land. If we start from the current construction site, this would be 47 acres...

If it takes Disney 6 months to renovate a restroom and over a year to renovate a restaurant I'm guessing we should see Avatar land completed sometime in the year 2020. :rotfl2:

I think the "secret stuff" he's not allowed to tell us is that it's not really 47 acres ;)
