If everyone runs for the new rides = Avatar Flight of Passage and Na'vi River Journey
At rope drop in the AM is Kilimanjaro Safaris and Festival of the Lion King show
less crowed?

Which should be a FP ?

if you're there around RD, you won't need a FP for either one. Yes, everything else is less crowded first thing in the a.m.

We went to AK the Sat after Thanksgiving & rode EE & Dinosaur as walk ons & Safaries was 5 mins. Wandered the trails, saw Flights of Wonder & had a snack. We then headed over to Pandora to check it out. FOP had posted wait time of 2 hrs at 12:20, so we jumped in line & were seated for the ride exactly 2 hrs to the minute. Line moves the whole time so not really bad at all. Awesome ride & awesome day at AK!

Thank you - we will do the "older" but good rides before a FP for Na'vi River Journey ;)

We were there during 4th of July week. We rode Everest and Dinosaur multiple times each during the first hour of park opening, while everyone else was in line for FOP.

So cool that everyone likes to go to Pandora first
We like the other rides and attractions better at AK than Pandora.
Go figure - we are in the older age group !

We rope-dropped DAK one day last week and did the safari w/o a FP+. Since we didn't run to the safari area, we had to wait a bit, but only a little bit. Maybe 10 minutes in the queue? By the time we got off the safari and back to the entrance, thinking we'd do it again, there was a huge line and the posted wait time was 60 minutes.

We strolled over to Pandora, ahead of our FOP FP+s, thinking maybe we'd ride NRJ. Hah! By then the line for NRJ was 2.5 hours long!

Our strategy is to ropedrop but head to dinoland and works our way around the park and just deal with waiting 2+ hours for FOP. I’m crossing my fingers for Navi fast passes at 30 days!

We rope dropped AK during Extra Magic Hour over Thanksgiving. EVERYONE-- hundreds of people-- was headed to Pandora, veering to the left at the Tree of Life. There were maybe 8 of us waiting over to the right to head towards Asia and Dinoland. We rode Everest twice with no wait, then Dinosaur and Primeval Whirl with no waits.

We had Flight of Passage and Kilimanjaro Safari Fastpasses for later in the morning, so it just all worked out perfectly! We rode everything before noon (didn't care about the Pandora river ride thingie) and then had a leisurely lunch at Nomad Lounge. :-)
