Pandora DVC Soft Opening

Our trip is scheduled for the week before Pandora's opening on the 27th of May. Has anyone heard any newer rumors about a soft opening event for DVC owners ?? I know they are having something for AP holders but was hoping for a DVC event before May 22nd (our last day).

DVC Previews are available during the same timeframe as the AP Previews (5/13 - 5/22), but for a different timeslot (9 am to 11 am).

We are staying at DVC on-site during the DVC preview window and we received an e-mail about it. I don't think e-mails to register went to those not staying on-site during that time.

I'm staying at BWV during that time period on my points and reservation, I didn't receive an e-mail. I'm going to call member services.

Per your note: Bought SSR in 2008 (from Disney) and BWV in 2009 (re-sale).

Read some FB post where people are getting calls if the names on the preview list doesn't match the room reservations.

One member said their son and his friend can't go to the preview because they are in different rooms than the member. But part of the traveling party. So if you have 2 studios, only those listed under the members room can go, but your other kids in the other room can't. Esp at poly when you have to get 2 studios for bigger families.

I'll post a review as soon as we get back (2 days after the event). We're now hoping to be able to enjoy the attractions during the preview, but at least now we know we'll get to see most of the area.

We are going on the day we leave on the EBTA! 9-11, then we'll pick up friends at AKV and head to the port! I will post what I can on route to Port Canaveral.
