Pandora Charm Gift Sets....I have a question

I noticed that Pandora sells Charm gift sets, there's a particular one called 'Under the Tree Gift Set'. It comes with a silver Christmas Tree charm, a present w/bow charm, and a green bead.

I'm not too keen on the green bead. Do they allow substitutions? Can I trade the green bead for another bead of the same price? Or are the gift sets sold as is?

I'm sure there are Pandora experts out there! TIA

Yea, the gift sets are really neat. I did some number crunching and figured out the gift sets are not discounted, but they are not over priced either. The charms are priced the same whether you buy them as a gift set or buy the charms individually.

That being said, it doesn't make sense to purchase a gift set unless you like all the charms.

I'm guessing that the charms cannot be substituted, but I'm going in to Pandora soon so I'll ask.

Is there a savings buying the set because you can just buy the charms you want individually if not.

Oh I see you already posted that they weren't discounted. I would just buy the ones you want, they can put them on the same cord in the same box so it looks like a set when opened.

I noticed you posted within a few minutes of my last post, but yea that's what I discovered. You don't save money buying the gift sets. But there is at least one gift set I saw where you can't buy one of the charms separately. It's the Halloween gift set that comes with the witch. I can't find anywhere on the site where you can purchase the witch on it's own. So in that case, it would be of value to get the set.

Plus, I think the gift sets are nice if someone was getting it for you, and they weren't sure which charm you'd like. Plus the charms come in a box w/ a bow so it's pretty gift giving.
