I'm thinking of investing in one of the above bracelets and some charms - gotta have some Disney charms of course, which are Chamilia, but not sure which company to use for the bracelet itself yet - I've heard it's all interchangeable anyway...

Soooo, I was wondering, am I going to find buying these either somewhere on site at Disney, Universal or at the Florida Mall, any better value than I would buying from somewhere in the UK?

Any advice would be much appreciated! :thumbsup2

Hi,
I bought a Pandora bracelet and some charms for my niece's 18th last year. I got them from a little shop called Polkadotz at the Florida Mall. It's on the corner(left) as you walk away from Dillards, almost opposite Bath and Bodyworks.
I've just looked at the receipt, and the bracelet was $50. The silver beads were $25 dollars each, and the glass beads were £30; all +tax. I think over here, the bracelet is £55, and the beads start at £20-£25.
Lucky for me, when I got back I found out my niece doesn't like Pandora, so I got to keep it! This year I'm going back to get some more!:thumbsup2
I don't know if you can buy them anywhere else though.

That is too spooky, that's what i've told DH I want for my Bday and was wondering about getting it in the US.

On my last trip, I ordered some charms from a US retailer to be delivered to the resort - and I didn't pay any sales tax. I did my research here at home - checked out the charms I wanted, compared the cost of buying here but going thro' Quidco and buying in the US with the exchange rate. Here's the site I used to check out the US prices and order from...

The Disney Chamilia beads are available onsite so you can get a minimum of 10% off if you have an AP... ;)

Thanks for the help everyone!

I just googled the Florida Mall directory, and whilst Polkadotz isn't listed, there is a Pandora Jewelry, so I assume that'll be the place I need.

Where abouts onsite can Disney Chamilia charms be found? World of Disney at DTD to get my 10% discount?

Just got to see whether I can save enough pennies in time now!

Thanks again everyone! :)

If you google Florida Mall Polka Dotz (my bad, I spelt it as one word:)),they have their own website. It also has a link for the Disney beads, though they say Disney isn't licenced with Pandora atm:)

i bought chamilia in florida at Easter. I got the bracelet in the florida mall ... $55, £55 here. We also bought some charms there. it was a dedicated chamilia stand in the center of the mall aisle if that makes sense.

The charms were actually cheaper in WDW ... I saw them in the World of Disney at DTD and in MouseGear at Epcot ... I managed to get 20% off by using a counter service voucher if you bought before noon. The two charms I bought there came to £25 ... and they'd be about £35 each at home. They did only have a limited selection though ... I'd see what WDW has then if there is anything else you want get them at the Florida Mall, they were basically dollar for pound if that makes sense?

Sorry to appear ignorant, but I'm not sure what you mean by getting 20% off with a counter service voucher :confused3 In my defence, it is past my bedtime!!:)

It may be that the Polkadotz store is no more as I believe there's a dedicated Pandora store in FMall now.

And yes, WoD sell the Disney charms... :thumbsup2

I brought chamillia at WoD and it was definitely cheaper there compared to here. The price in $ was actually cheaper than in £s with AP discount.

They sell the Disney charms in WoD & also Uptown Jewellers on Main Street, although they have quite a limited amount & don't stock them all.

When we were there in June we were able to use our AP's for discount in every shop (other than Aribas Bros as they are not Disney owned) even the resort shops - so my advice is ask everywhere if they take the AP, I saved hundred's of $$$'s!

there is a actual pandora shop now @ the Florida mall, we went there at christmas, it was cheaper then, but on chatting to the shop assistant she said there prices were going up in the new year , and the new prices didnt seem to be too far off the uk prices, theres also a chamilla stand/ cart in the florida mall, that is cheaper over there, the park / downtown disney only carries a limited range now, havent had new bits for ages.

Is there a good range of Chamilia charms at WoD as it'll be my wifes birthday when over and its unlikely we will be at a Mall but will certainly be down at DTD? She has already earmarked a few faves that I can pick from that she would like but heaven help me if I gamble on getting them there and come up short.

cheers
