Pandora bracelet?

I got my mom a Pandora bracelet and 3 charms for her 60th birthday. My dad also bought her charms for her birthday and Christmas (her birthday is Christmas Eve). She is not a jewelry person but she loves her Pandora bracelet and wears it all the time.

I actually liked the look of Trollbeads, but I didn't go with them because they weren't interchangeable with Pandora.

Forgot to mention that I do have 1 Chamilia charm on my Pandora bracelet. It's the charm with the silhouette of Mickey's head. Chamilia charms are quite large compared to Pandora charms. So the Mickey charm sticks out because it's huge compared to my other charms!

I love Pandora - have 2 bracelets, and many charms. Fabulous quality, great selection and wonderful warranty services.

I prefer Pandora over Chamilia, even though Chamilia has the official Disney charms.

In regards to something cheaper, I have seen knock offs at Kohl's and some other jewelry stores in the malls, but not sure of the quality.

You really do get what you pay for in regards to Pandora, as the workmanship is fabulous! So, even if the product is more expensive, if it lasts longer, and doesn't need to be replaced or repaired (at a cost to the customer), then it will be cheaper in the long run.

Do they sell the Chamilia charms on property?

I adore my Pandora bracelet! Pretty much every woman in my family has one, and we all give each other charms for birthdays and holidays. I just love how there are charms for so many different interests, and the quality and service are outstanding.

Because I love mine so much, here's a couple of pics ;) Oh, I do have 2 non-Pandora charms on my bracelet -- one purple Swarovski crystal, and my Chamilia Mickey head that I bought at World of Disney last month :thumbsup2

Here's the whole bracelet:

I'd love to see pics of everyone else's! :goodvibes

ShesAPirate, love your bracelet! I was actually thinking of getting the ladybug glass bead....just haven't done it yet.

Here's mine: My favorite charms are: Mickey Head (third from left), red/white stripe glass bead, and Christmas Tree.....I got all those for Christmas 2011.

Sorry if the pic is too small. The first bead on the left is a hearts charm, got that for a Valentine's Day. Next to that is a cupcake charm....I love to bake. The 2 clips I have are the stars pattern.

Hope to add on more charms soon!

I have a trollbeads bracelet- I love that all of the other companies beads fit on it, so you can mix it up. I also like that you can exchange your bracelet for the next size up, and that you have different clasps to choose from. I'm not sure about all stores, but the one I typically shop at has a deal where you buy a clasp and get the bracelet for free.

Thanks everyone for all the info, I never knew there were so many choices in bracelets!! I was wondering if anyone has tried the Pandora leather bracelet?
They come in different colors and look more casual. I also wondered
If they held all charms and beads etc. like the silver bracelets?
Thanks again for all your help,
Chris

I have the black braided pandora bracelet and I love it because I am casual person. The leather ones are not too expensive and it you just get a bead here and there. They make nice ideas for presents and special memories. DH just got me a camera charm for Valentine's Day. :) I love it. My DS actually got me the bracelet and my initial to start when we were on a trip together. I am thinking of getting one for DD's bday this summer. They are fun!

I don't know if they are Chamilia or not (I assume they are), but they sell charms at Uptown Jewelers on Main Street USA.

Yes. They sell Camilia beads there. Best to bring Pandora bracelet with you as not all Disney Chamilia beads will fit.

Also, if warranty is a concern, Pandora will void your warranty if they see non-Pandora beads on their bracelets.

As I said in my earlier post, sometimes its not the style of Chamilia charm that won't fit on a Pandora, but rather the exact charm. DW tried to get one Disney charm on her bracelet that would not fit and then tried another charm of the exact same style and that fit.

As for the warranty thing, I can't believe that. I hate when companies pull that stuff! How is a charm by a different manufacturer going to harm the quality of the bracelet? Silver is silver, unless it is plated or something.

The one thing that I do not like about Pandora is that they do not really have that wide of a selection of charms. I had an idea of some of the charms I wanted for DW's bracelet, and Pandora simply didn't have what I was looking for.

Pandora & Chamilia bracelets have threading at the beginning. Many of the knock off beads don't have threads or the threads are different. They can and will mess up the threading on the bracelet.

At the Pandora's on Property at WDW they have special Disney charms that you can only get at WDW. I have a bracelet I went with the bangle and it has only Disney charms, Mickey and Minnie and my princess Cinderella. I got it for Christmas last year, hopefully for Christmas this year I am asking for another bracelet so I can divide the charms and just have Mickey and Minnie on one and princess and other Disney charms on the other.
