Pandora after Park Closes

Really want to see Pandora after dark! For our trip in January, Rivers of Light is scheduled for 7:15-7:45. Park closes at 8. Will we have time/be allowed to Pandora after Rivers of Light just to walk around or do they not allow you into that area that close to park closing? I know at MK, the park stays open after closing, so just wondered how that worked for AK - particularly Pandora.

If we have a fastpass to Rivers of Light for a 7:15 show, how early should be plan on getting our seats?

You should still be able to wander into Pandora at 7:45 pm. Depending upon when in January you're going, it'll be dark as early as 5:40 pm and as late as 6:05 pm, so plenty of time to experience Pandora prior to RoL too.

You'll have plenty of time to see it; like kmb584 said, there will be plenty of time after-dark in the park in January. They are letting anyone who is in line by almost-closing to stay in line and they keep the ride going until the line is through, so it will be operational for a long time. There was a 3 hour line when we checked at closing a couple of nights ago.

(Side note: I didn't think Pandora was super cool at night. I was surprised how dark it was over there. I expected a lot more glowing. Maybe I'm just hard to impress, I dunno.)
