Pandemic + winter storm = is someone trying to tell me something?!

Heading out to Hawaii on Friday from NS through Ont and BC….first time out of province since pre-covid. Ok Covid testing hoops, cancelled and rebooked flights due to Delta and Omicron variant - no problem, I get it. Wait, there is going to be a 12 hour ice storm? Thursday through til Saturday? Fabulous. Just great.

Every flight was cancelled for Friday and most of Saturday coming out of Halifax airport - so we ended up flying out last minute on Thursday night! A glorious extra (and expensive) day in Hawaii!
