April cancelled
July cancelled
September cancelled

So we are now looking to do Jersey week. (11/1 to 11/8)
The kids only have off Thursday and Friday, but we are heading down on Saturday and spending the entire week since they are virtual anyway and get out of school at 12:30PM which is too late for a park day.
I am looking at crowd levels and besides ROTR it seems like wait times are very manageable.
Since it looks like the reservation model is going to stay around for a very long time and news of FL OK with Disney increasing capacity.

How do you think Jersey week will be this year?

I think crowds will return to higher than as of late but not pre-covid crowd levels. I still think the majority of people visiting WDW will be locals and those that drive in with very few plane travel guests. Especially if there are still travel restrictions etc. in past years I would never go to WDW during Jersey week but this year I don’t foresee it as a huge issue other than maybe park pass reservations may hit their limit but if they raise capacity it may be a non issue.

Checking capacity it is wide open now for November.
We may drive, but we are not afraid of flying.
I was once concerned about NJ restriction on Florida, but the numbers in Florida have been dropping and NJ restriction is voluntary and has no teeth.
The bigger restriction was the FL one from NJ.

The back end there may be people like us who are keeping reservations despite W&D being virtual

We are coming Nov 1-7, driving from Virginia. Our original date was April, hoping crowds stay low as they are now.

We so want to go as we have done this trip for the last 4 Jersey Weeks. Flights are dirt cheap compared to what we usually pay. As of now we are going to DLR/visiting family but that doesn’t look so likely right now. I’d love to switch over to WDW but the required quarantine once back will ruin any of our trips for Jersey Week. Such a bummer.

We were going but cancelled. Too many cutbacks, new luggage rules with DME, no fireworks, etc.

But I am interested how busy (not pre-covid busy) parks will be. I'm seeing more and more pictures of families down the shore or where ever since school is virtual. Kids can do their work anywhere.

Hmmm I didn’t realize Jersey Week was that week. (I’m from Massachusetts). Considering traveling that week.
There is still tons of open availability so maybe it won’t be as busy?
wondering if I should reconsider though now based on that information and maybe shoot for January.

We just came back from Disney and my kids did virtual work from resorts and saw many other kids doing the same thing. Problem for my kids is the have to be signed in for there zooms throughout the day and time class was over it would be too late to go to a park with reduced hours. However I think as time go on many parents will travel and let their kids work virtual from the resorts even if it's just to have a change of scenery.

I rescheduled my March trip to 11/04 - 11/09 and I REALLY want to keep my reservation. I would have no problem going, but the NJ restriction is the only thing that will hold me back. I work in a school (in person) and if the restriction isn't lifted, they would make me quarantine and use my sick time.

C'mon Florida - get those numbers down!
